I am looking to purchase new wheels and tires for my F-150 4x4 and I was wondering what is the largest combo I can go with using the stock suspension? Thanks.

Stock suspension--humm
The best I think you'll get on are 31" x 12.5". The stock rims are probably 17" right? You can go to 16" if you want.
I have a 5" lift with 33x14.5 and if I turn my wheel all the way (which my wife constantly does). they will rub.
You can fit larger tires if you want to cut some of the from rubber so the clear as you turn.
Good luck

Shemmy,
I have 265/75-16 (32"X10.5") tires on my truck with stock suspension. There is no rubbing and to see what they look like see my gallery. I have seen 285/75-16 (33"X11.5") tires on a 2000 F150 4x4 with stock suspension but don't know if there is any rubbing. You might want to buy widder wheels if you go bigger than 265/75-16.
I just bought a set of Nitto 285's with the stock 16" alloys and stock suspension. They look great, and Ive had no problems with them. The speedometer is about 5mph off though, and I haven't found a fix for it...
Thanks folks for all of the great input, but I have decided to just bite the bullet and put a 4” suspension lift on it. I am leaning toward a 33 x 12.50 and a 16 x 10 rim. Up we go…
