I just took the tires off my 2019 f250 and put them on my 2026 f250. I now have a tpms fault when I start truck. Tried driving 30 miles. no change. Then I did the flasher 3 times went over and started to let out the air on front left tire. almost flat and no horn beep. Is there a learn tool I can buy or do I need to go to the dealer? Also is there an issue between 2019 sensors and 2026 truck
If my memory is correct, I'm pretty sure the 2019 trucks used 315MHz sensors, and the 2023+ trucks moved to 433Mhz. The TPMS receiver's frequency in the 2026 truck is incompatible with the 2019 sensors. I'm thinking you're going to need to upgrade all the 315 MHz sensors to 433 MHz if you want to use them on the 2026 truck. There is no reconfiguration or adjustment by the dealer or by you that would be able to work around replacing the sensors.
