Dome Lights
Good morning everyone,
I have two dome lights that are out in my 2012 E350.
I took one apart and replaced the bulb and that fixed the problem of not lighting now I can’t figure out how to get the dome light back together.
When I try to put the plastic lens on the head liner pushes up and it won’t snap together.
Hoping someone has a trick / tip or some way to get it back together.
I haven’t replaced the bulb in the second one yet, don’t want two without the lens on.

Find the tab
Press the lens together with your fingers to compress it where the tab is
That way you can just stick it up in there and let go
Or
One good smack while it is caving in your headliner works
That's what would be done at the dealer, one good smack and you'll never know your headliner was almost destroyed
