well, the horse has left the barn on this one anyway but... I just bought one of these. My truck is so low that even a low profile jack is hard to position under
the rear end and I have abouy 1" of handle movement until it makes contact with the chunk and gets it a little higher... It's a pain both from the side and the rear,
This one is low enough (5.5") to slide under the gas tank and reach the chunk and air operated (with no jacking). I haven't had time to put it in use yet but I looking
for real world experience from you guys... I'll only use it on a good concrete floor...no rough ground or sketchy lifts . Just wondering if any of you have or used this
type jack and have any sage advise about it to keep me from some uh-ooohs.
I believe there was a thread on here a few years ago but I don't recall what the consensus was . I do have the same issues with my coupe but honestly without going out and measuring I'm not sure 5.5" is low enough lol .

john
Takes me awhile to jack mine up too but being retired I have a lot of time. What's the specs on that critter, how high will it lift and what weight..2..3 ton?
Let us know how you like it, What I used to do before I raised the suspension on my panel I used to drive it up on some 2 x 10 planking in order to get the jack underneath then take the forever ending pumps on the jack handle. If I had the room I'd just buy a lift..maybe in my second lifetime if I don't came back as a frog...lol
yea John, BTDT... I got tired of tripping over the 2x10s and when I finally got stiffer springs on the front I could get the jack under it... with a thousand pumps... I hope this solves the problem
