Youtube and Facebook are so great about throwing stuff at me to buy/try/love. I've seen a lot lately about spray on chrome systems...the range from 40 bucks to a thousand... I'm not in the market but curious about
durability and finish... are these all they claim to be.
With all the regs on real chrome plating is this where everything is headed ??? curious minds wanna know !

My very limited research was it was all about the clear system that goes on top. If you spray a standard clear it just turns silver. You need one of the systems that has a compatible clear coat to maintain the chrome look/finish. I believe you can then spray a 2k clear over that.
The surf that they lay down with a house painting brush and starts of grey and dries perfectly mirror smooth and shiny gets me sucked in every time.
