Let's play..Name that part !

Pulled into clean bay at local car wash. Gave the (1984..F-150) truck a good wash..the shot the undercarriage good as well. Pulled out to vacuum..and noticed this plastic piece laying where I had just been..I've looked at the underside..but don't see a place where this might attach. There are no Ford part numbers on it..just a series of random numbers that do not show up anywhere on Google..Anyone have an answer..or a guess ?..thanks..Jerry............

A little better picture or 2 might help along with something to tell the size like a ruler next to it.
Also was it to the front or rear of where the truck was in the bay could also help.

But as a guess I dont think it was from your truck as I have taken 2 81 F100 trucks apart down to the bare frame and dont remember seeing anything like that on either and was a pretty complete truck when I took it apart.

Well I would look at the drivers side plastic fender well where it flattens off to the rear, and see if the passenger side is the same.
I forget how it bolts to the body back in that area but I cant really see it braking off even if the screws fell out as that plastic is some pretty tuff stuff.
