for that 331 we used out of the box edelbrock 60255 heads , with a 7581 air gap intake cam a edelbrock rollin thunder 2221 , the motor was built more for torque pulled good from 1500 right to 5500, we found it to be a nice out of the box combo,
over all road wise a F5 cobra is a light car, at 2300 pounds , 5 spd trans, 3;55 gears , the 425 hp is way more than is needed to shred the tires
