Serpentine belt

My truck is a 1993 F-250 with a 351 and automatic transmission. My AC pump has frozen up. I wonder if I could bypass it and use a non AC belt for the time being. Would the factory non AC belt fit? There are other things I want to do to my truck and don’t want to spend the money on a new compressor. Thanks.

Why not just put a new pulley and bearing assembly on your existing compressor?
It's easier and cheaper and you can use your existing belt
All you need is the new hub
Still available from Ford last I checked
if not, get the part number from them and search Ebay

Yes as long as the pulley is the problem. All we know is:

How is the compressor “locked up?” Is it the compressor or the pulley? If you cannot turn the compressor clutch by hand but the pulley is good then simply unplug the field coil connector.

this was the fix for my dads 1995 TBI chevy ac comp (R4 junk)

his connector had a short somewhere and was the cause for him

Agreed. Unplug the compressor. If the pulley does not spin then the clutch/pulley is dorked up. Replace it and let it free spin.
