I have 16.5 slotted mags,,,that are in great shape,,,,,I bought 4 BFG Baha military tire 3 hold air real good ,one I have to stay on top of it because of leak edge,,,,,I beleive its around the bead ,any suggestions on these big 37's
Give it a dunking in a soapy water solution with real air pressure, watch the valve stem too. Might find leak with a spray bottle spritzing it as you rotate it by hand.
X2 air it up to like 70 lbs and then spray it with a bottle of water and dish soap to find the leak. That works easier than looking for a spit bubble. X2 check valve stem real good, like move it "radialy" around. If you find a bad rim bead/seat area, I would break the bead down (on the bad side) and insp the rim/lip for corrosion, and clean accordingily. And then insp the tire for a damaged lip/bead edge.
Maybe you just have a hard to see/find punture from a nail, screw? Tire shop time? Tell them those rims are RARE and $$$$ expensive $$$$ and to be carful and use the rubber coated tire bar.
I could stick all 4 fingers in that cut. The old school farm tractor tire repair shop guy, did his vulcaniziation/boot and large patch job trick. And then put a dump truck inner tube in it. They are NOT 16.5's and are 15's on the Bronco crawler, NOT A HIGHWAY USED TIRE. Had a 1/2 more of tire bead and it would of been a goner. Only run about 10 to 15 psi anyway.
Ahhh... my favorite rims!! I have 2 sets in 16.5 and one set of 15's, need to get them polished up like yours! My 2 - 16.5's are powder coated... been debating on paying out the nose $$$ for 16.5 good tires, or biting the bullet and going to the 17 Indy Mags... either way it's going to cost $$$!

Ugh... that's basically my wheel but I have 15s and I have the same issue with the spare wheel where it wont hold any air. Took the tire off (brand spanking new... well 2018 vintage but unused) and the stupid big was shredded; big piece flapping in the wind

That looks great.
Many moons ago I went into a parts sore and a guy was buying new lug nuts for a set of used wheels just like yours.
When the parts guy hit the total button the customer about passed out.
If my memory recalls the toral was close to $80 for all 32 and the flat washers.
He told the counter man that was more than he paid for the set of 4 used wheels.
He said, "If I had known they cost that much I wouldn't have bought them".
And walked out.
