I have a 1995 f250 with the 5.8. It has been idling around 2300rpm and has very poor power. If I give it more than 1/3 throttle it bogs down and wants to shut off. It usually has trouble starting up but a little carb clean and it starts up.
It has a check engine light, so I purchased a ford obd1 scanner but couldn’t pull the code.
The vacuum lines seemed to be in bad shape so I went ahead and replaced them all one at a time.
Even after, it is still having the same issues.
I have also done fuel filter, spark plugs/wires, iac, and tps.
I do not know where to go from here.
Any suggestions are appreciated
edit***
when iac is unplugged rpms drop down significantly but idle is rough

Check again for a vacuum leak. Base of carb, carb body, any line and fittings, power brake connections, power brake booster, intake manifold, intake gaskets all sides.

Unless we are told otherwise, the engine would be EFI.

You have a bad vacuum leak. What code reader did you buy? You need to be able to retrieve codes or the computer might be bad. Test fuel pressure.

So no response? If so that suggests the computer has issues, pull it out for a visual inspection... if there are leaking capacitors or other visible damage it should be replaced.
