Back up camera missing....

Back up camera missing....
....but alarm still working. Bought an 08 F-350 with an XAV-AX4000 Sony aftermarket radio. The stock tailgate was replaced with one to accommodate a fifth wheel trailer. However, the backup alarm is still working even though there is no camera. Anyway to shut it off?

The camera has nothing to do with a backup alarm, it’s strictly a visual aid.

The installer of the aftermarket radio did not remove the alarm wire. I did when I installed an aftermarket backup camera.
