I could be off on this but the total weight of vehicle and load are rated to be no more than 13,000. Each end also has its own max allowable weight. Id assume each end added together comes to or close to the trucks GVWR of 13000. But tires and junk china made wheels, big offsets and the like can take away from those max gvw's. Ive seen more than my share of sheared wheel studs on others blinged out trucks.

Do you have the door jamb label? If so, your answers are right there.

If you don't, the BEST thing to do is go to Ford with your VIN and they can tell you what it's supposed to be.

There is a good chance your axle ratings will add up to more than your GVWR.

It's a dually, from 2005. There aren't many out on the road anymore.

Take your VIN, call your dealer, and ask them, instead of running around. They'll be able to look it up in minutes on their computer.

Pretty sure that's an unnecessary addition to an F350 dually. I've run truck campers on duallies for years and never needed a tag axle. Those are really only needed when you want to overload a 3/4 ton or 1-ton SRW.

It seems like the proper thing to do is to ask the potential customer for the front and rear GAWRs from the Federal Certification Label on the door jamb of their specific truck, rather than make a guess based on reliance of what other people report about their own trucks, which are not the customer's truck.

Axle ratings can vary based on optional equipment ordered at the time the truck was built. Some trucks are equipped with Snow Plow Prep Package, which can affect front GAWR. Other trucks are equipped with the High Capacity Trailer Tow Package, which can affect rear GAWR. Still other trucks are equipped with both packages. There are different front GAWRS for diesel versus gas. And there are various front spring upgrade packages such as Extra Heavy Service and the like.

Call the customer. Request the customer send you a photo of the two labels in their front door jamb. That will provide the best possible customer service, by giving you the most accurate information appropriate for their truck.
