I have a 2022 STX I recently swapped in a 2022 8 inch Lariat cluster. I loaded the saved IPC info from the original cluster with Forscan and everything works perfectly....except, now I have a strange 3 chime warning whenever I turn the wheel while driving slowly.
If I stop at a stop sign, turn right or left I get the chimes. If I back out of my driveway and turn the wheel I get the chimes. When I pull in the driveway when I turn the wheel I get the chimes. If I back straight out, no chimes. If I pull in straight, no chimes.
Turning off lane departure and/or collision assist doesn't silence it.
It's not the door or parking brake chimes, they make a completely different sound.
Does it when I'm alone or full of passengers.
All the dash lights come on during self test.
I loaded the as-built data with no Forscan customization, it still chimes.
The chime sounds like a sonar so I guess it has something to do with parking aid, cross traffic, Blis, parking sensors or something like that, which this vehicle does not have and all of which are disabled according to Forscan.
