On my 24 XLT, I have the option on the screen turned on to where it notifies me of a school zone/ railroad track when you’re coming up to one.
Is the GPS in the truck programmed from the factory to warn you when you come into these areas or is there a camera that picks up on the signs which then alert you that you’re coming into a zone?
I’ve come across marked sidewalks with signs similar to what a School zone has and the truck notifies me. Weird 🤔
Mine has similar options also including Reverse Brake Assist. If I drive in reverse on a single lane driveway, any weeds protruding into the path will cause full-on RED ALERT & involuntary braking to a complete stop.
Do those options show up only if you have the Ford Navigation subscription? Im still in my year trial and these warnings come up alot.
In my 25 Lariat these options also slows down on certain curves in the road and it sees signs that dont exist and brakes in front of cars because it seen a 35 mph sign on a 60 MPH road. Sometimes it does what it wants and can be frustrating.
