Upper door hinge issue
I replaced the upper door hinge on my 66 F100 Custom Cab. I bought a new to me but take off part from Slick Truck Parts. After i now have it installed I noticed the round roller is stuck and binding the door when closing. Does anyone have any idea how to free it up without removing it? I already have penetrating oil soaking it up. One more question, I replaced the same door weatherstrip with Dennis carpenter and the door won't shut no matter how long i let it set in the heat. i had to remove it to get the door to close. Is there a generic thinner weatherstrip I can use to set in place just not as think? I can most likely fit it into the curves if its thin enough. thanks Jeff

I’ve heard nothing but positive reviews of the door weatherstripping from Precision. But just buy it from Rockauto as it’s significantly less expensive than direct from Precision. Their weatherstripping is a thinner more correct profile.
