Question Need help locating Part!

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a 1976 F100, 5.9L automatic with what I believe is the factory air conditioning. I’m in the process of bringing the truck back to life and sorting through everything, but I’ve run into an issue trying to track down a specific part.

It looks like it’s part of the idler pulley assembly,
Unsure, part in question.
Unsure, part in question.

The bearing that runs with the belt off the AC. The problem is, I cannot seem to locate the exact replacement. I’ve already tried four different bearings and three types of pulleys, but none of them fit correctly or line up where the belt needs to run.

I’ve attached a photo of the part in question. It’s possible I’m off base and this isn’t actually what I think it is, but either way I’ve hit a wall.

Has anyone here dealt with this before? Do you know the correct part number or a reliable source that carries the proper replacement? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The brighter grey colored circle is where the part was at, I have since taken it out to go look around some junk yards and parts stores. Previous owner did quite a few janky things to it.

I've got one but the bearing is shot. Based on measuring mine and cross-referencing the part number D0AZ-8679-A (see last section below), I think this idler pulley will work. the diameter and the bolt size line up...

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...t=6956&jsn=458

you should also be able to take the bolt out of your bracket and find an idler pulley at your favorite parts house...mine is just a hair over 3 1/2"
