This 390 2V originally came out of a 1966 Mercury Monterey. I was in my 1976 F-250 4wd when I purchased the truck back in Jan 2021.
It ran but fouled #7 & 8 spark plugs. I replaced the 390 with a 1966 Mercury Marauder 410.
It has never been rebuilt but at some time it had the timing chain and gears replaced.
It is still standard standard standard. It still has the factory bearings and the rod bearings are stamp 2-66.
It would make a great 390 to start with.
I have the factory cast iron 4V intake that was on my 410 and it goes with the engine.
I'm asking $400.
