I have a 2004 f350 6.0. Build date is 10/03. I need a injector harness and some websites show multiple different ones and others show they are the same 03-07. Is there actually a difference and if so what it is it? Im leaning towards the bostech because of cost. Just wanted to varify that theres a difference if i should go by the build date or the year of the truck. Thanks for your time it is appreciated

 

All I can tell you is there is a difference.

 

Your build date is October 2003 so that means you'll need the standalone FICM harness. If you had an early 2003 with a build date of Fall 2002, you'd need a whole new engine harness and FICM harness as the two were one at that time. Later 2003 trucks shipped with the FICM and engine harness separate.

Individual Injector Harnesses. The plugs for the throttle body changed (2005+ none), and the routing, if I remember correctly.

2003 - 3C3Z-9D930-AA
2004 - 4C3Z-9D930-AA
2005+ - 5C3Z-9D930-A

 

I went with this for my late 04 a short while back.
not the quality of factory, but it works... So far. Don't know if it's same as bostech or not.

Thats what i was looking for. I was looking for something affordable that worked. The harness you recommended never popped up in my search over the last few days. Just placed my order for that harness. Appreciate it
