Pulled the covers off to inspect valve train, and found the driver side valve cover is rusted out on the edge, leading to a potential leak point once cleaned up even with a new gasket. I tried finding an aftermarket option, but couldn’t find one. Was I just not looking hard enough? I’d also like to not break the bank if I can at all help it. CDD has an option for $200 with the breather ports, just curious to see if there are any others sub $250

 

There's some used on ebay right now for under $100 a set.

 

You could also use this search engine to see if there's an IDI truck or van (83-94 F250 & F350) n a salvage yard near you. I'd think a set of valve covers wouldn't be too expensive.
