Remote start from key fob

My truck has "remote start" and allows me to activate it through the my ford app. Vehicle is 2019 lariet. it shows in my vehicle setting menus and give me options to remember the climate control settings during remote start up which works. i have also checked in forscan it shows it is enabled there. my question is the 2 key fobs i have just have the lock, unlock, and alarm buttons- no button for remote starting. I have seen videos on youtube that show on vehicles with this style remote you should be able to press lock, unlock, and lock again for remote starting. my does not do this... what do i need to do to get it to allow remote starting from my key fob?

Never seen remote start that didn't have a dedicated button on the fob.
Have you owned it since new?
Could be the remotes aren't correct.

its entirely possible. i am the 3rd owner. i purchased the vehicle through a ford dealer and it is a certified "blue advantage" pre owned truck... i did not see it on factory window sticker but it does allow it to start using the ford pass app and also has the menu options in the vehicle.

For the non start button remotes the sequence is correct, lock/unlock/lock, but, you have to have the module installed.

It looks like this, but different part numbers for different years..

OEM Remote Start Module

You can look under the dash and see if you have one installed.

If not, it's pretty easy plug and play.

You may need Forscan to activate it.

My 2019 can only be auto started from the Ford pass app. There is no button on the remote for auto start. I am the original owner.

You'll need the perimiter plus module like longhaultransport posted. Not only does it enable remote start from the key fob, but also gives you an additional layer of security by adding a shock sensor. There might be some aftermarket options too.
