Guys,
Any ideas on this leak? Has new radiator and hoses. Just had this leak fixed and 2 weeks later it just exploded into a free flow waterfall while the car was just turned off after a 20 minute drive. It used to just be a slow leak, that was addressed two weeks ago.
Check all the hoses that run on that side of the vehicle. There are a bunch of coolant hoses that run on the side of the engine on the passenger side for the front and rear hvac. Head gaskets don't normally leak that much that quick.
I am glad you said that, because it was leaking like a water fall. Just so everyone is aware, as of two weeks ago I had the following things installed.
New Hellwig Sway bar
New Warn Premium Locking Hubs
New Red Head Steering Gears
New Track Bar
New ATS Springs (X's on front and modded C's on the rear)
New Castor Shims
New Bilstein Shocks and Steering Stabilizer
New Diff Covers
New bearings and seals on the axles
New Crown Performance Brake Lines (All 5)
New SSBC 8 piston Calipers all around
New Slotted and Dimpled Rotors
New Serpentine Belt
New Spark Plugs and wires
New alternator
New AC actuator
1 year ago I had a new Radiator and all of the Hoses added
1 year ago new gem module and wiring harness (for the record I do not think they replaced the harness)
2 years ago new heater core
Hurting inside right now, but even more so at the wallet. This thing never ran so well and never drove so well. I was so happy.
Looking like it is the heater hoses and Water/Heater Control Valves. Does anyone know where I can get these parts and replace new. My mechanic is saying he cannot get them (or the parts are not made anymore) and the hoses have special fittings. He also says they are filled with scale.
If it's the hoses at the connection where they go through the firewall, they are a real pain to get to. I normally do my own work, but when mine started leaking there last year I took one look and said I ain't got time for that, dropped it at the shop.
They found, as you mentioned, that you can't get those fittings, or at least not easily. So they used some elbows and hose clamps.
Next time I was at the picnsave I pulled a set off a wrecked ex and have them on the parts shelf if needed.

I think you may need a new mechanic... Generic 5/8 heater hose, hose clamps and these are all you need. I don't recall if that is the right size so double check that first. Any autoparts store can get the heater valve also. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NOE47165
Thanks Dweber85rc,
They did manage to find the Heater Control Valve and have it installed. Really hoping this is the last of this issue for the leaks. They did not manage to replace the hoses, it seems they think it is fine after flushing the hoses, with some chemicals, from apparent scaling. Believe I might take it somewhere else to have the hoses replaced, I do not want this thing coming back to haunt me when I am far out in the desert.
Really appreciate everyone's input here, I am not very truck savy.
I had to replace the heater core , and access those coolant hoses , they are really not that hard, just when you put your hands in , you can't see anything . Still not bad .
