Front End Leak

Appreciate any ideas on this leak I discovered over the weekend. Saw a leak on the driveway so I got under the front end and took some pictures and videos. Bright green fluid so my first thought was antifreeze. I wiped around to get some of it off. AF showed right at the min level today. Put 200 miles on it yesterday and gauges all showed normal range. Have an appointment with Ford (since I have an extended warranty) but hope to have an idea before I go. Ran it up to temp today, got under it, and dont see it leaking or spirting out anywhere. Also no leaks on the ground afterwards. Thoughts/ideas appreciated. 2020 F350 6.7 about 95k miles.

That looks like a coolant leak. Might be water pump time.

It does look like coolant. Is it possibly a radiator leak running down the fan shroud and onto the steering components.

Agreed, looks like a coolant leak. Make sure you keep it topped off until fixed. Worst thing for an engine is running it out of oil. Second worst thing is running it out of coolant.

Thanks. I just find it weird that after I got the truck up to temperature today I didn’t see any additional leaks or anything on the driveway. I’ll re-check the fluid level tomorrow. I need to get the truck on the level surface.

It's been my experience that small leaks are more susceptible to showing up when everything is cold. Once it's up to temp and everything expands they can seal up and disappear.

this, especially when we consider that ford uses quick connect fittings with rubber o rings in them.
