I have a 97 7.3 F Super Duty and recently had the fuel filter light come on. I let it ride like that for 2 days which ended up causing my engine to die while driving. No start after that. Got it towed back to my house, changed the fuel filter, bled the air out of the lines and after a bit of cranking she was back alive. Drove fine for a day. Now I’m getting the fuel filter light again coming on and off. Feels like the engine is almost not getting enough fuel, or like it’s misfiring under load. I’ve bled the lines again and used the valve to bleed air as well, but seems like it’s already all out. Engine feels as if it wants to give out after warming up and I’m going 45+ but it hasn’t so far. Has been running like this for the past 4 days. Does anyone know what this could be? Injectors? Fuel pump? Fuel pump is a year old replaced with factory motorcraft.
