351 Gas millage

351 Gas millage

I have a 92 that I just got and going form my old I-6 to the 351 was a big shock at the pump, I got around 13mpg hwy where as the old I-6 got around 18 hwy. What are other getting with their 351 and is there any way to improve it?

I get 13-15 depending on driving and road conditions.

wow...my I-6 eats gas compared to what i should be getting. 8-10mpg, but i drive like i stole it.

i get around 9-11mpg with mine, but thats with a bad thermactor pipe, and a heavy foot
