I looked through the guides and I have googled it but I haven’t seen much on the new blue ford is offering for 2026. Has an official photo of it been released? I want to order a new truck next year and it would be nice to have a blue truck since we are an all blue truck family except for my white 24. I have grown to hate white vehicles especially for a farm truck.

If your talking about Argon Blue, here is a thread that discusses it and has a small clip of it…
I like the blue but I've always been partial to red so I ordered ruby red. Does anyone know if it's lighter or darker than rapid red? I also considered Avalanche. We have a star white F150 King Ranch and I really like how the white doesn't show dirt like darker colors. I would imagine Avalanche would be the same since it is light.

From what I've seen, and to my eye anyhow, the Ruby Red is a little darker than the Rapid Red.

I had an avalanche for a few years. I got many compliments on it. Looks really good on a BAP - or painted bumpers - I feel it gets a little lost in the chrome packages personally. It’s also not a metallic so in full sun it almost can look like a silver - but in shade ,night darkens up some. I feel it’s a shade lighter then the nardo grey
however I did get a lot of compliments with avalanche.
here it is next to star white.
This was on an overcast day which I think looks great in that light- and star white probably looks best in full sun / and when super clean can even look great at night when the nightlife /moon hit those sparkles in the paint.
Thanks, Jesse4812, for the pictures. The ruby does look a little darker. Oafy44, thanks to you also. I have time to make changes since my order has not been scheduled. I hope to go to my dealer on Monday and see if he has both colors on his lot. Then I can make a final decision. I really hadn't given much thought to Avalanche until I saw an F150 in it yesterday. Really looked sharp. The Platinums have a lot of blackout on them so I would think it would look good but so does the red.
Ruby Red is 3-stage - base color, tinted mid coat, and clearcoat. Thus the upcharge. It takes on different appearances. Can seem rather blah in cloudy weather but get it in the right sunlight and it pops brilliantly.
The wife and I went to my dealer today They had 2 Avalanche SD's and a ruby red Bronco in stock. As soon as she saw the Avalanche F250's she said that's it. One had the blackout package which gave us an idea how it would look with the blacked out Platinum trim. I did like the ruby red but I like the idea of lighter colors as they seem to not show dirt as much. Since my order hasn't been scheduled no problem changing it. Backed out the ruby and added a couple more options, upfitter switches and the 3 year Sirius XM package.
My 2020 Platinum 350 was iconic silver. That was the first year for it. I really liked it. I have no idea why Ford would put it out to pasture with the fleet colors other than maybe low volume for that color.
