Sputtering

My 2008 F-150 5.4L spits and sputters on applying the gas pedal. If I stomp on the pedal even for a second my truck will start to move ok.

So many possible causes......

What codes are you getting? Set & pending?
What has been changed recently (if anything)?
What lights are on the dash?
Does it do this cold & hot?
When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?
Did you inspect the TB to see how dirty it is?
Any rodents building homes in the intake / filter housing?

Basically, more information - good, less information - bad.

Codes

I keep getting codes 2195 2196 2197 2198. I have two sensors on bank 1 and two sensors on bank 2. On both banks one sensor says o2 sensor stuck rich and the other o2 sensor stuck lean. Rich and lean on both sides.

New work done

I have had many things done to my truck lately. New plugs and coils, new fuel filter, new injectors, new VVT solenoids, new fuel pump control module. Today I am putting in a new MAF sensor and tomorrow new o2 sensors. so far nothing has helped.

Temps.

The sputtering becomes worse with heat.

I doubt you’ll reach the promised land changing O2 sensors.

You’ll need to diagnose based off those four codes rather than fire the ever infamous Random Parts Cannon at this.

Figure out why the truck is sputtering. Fuel, spark, compression! What’s missing?

Is the timing off? I see you did VVT solenoids? Was that in response to a P0012/P0022 code twosome?

The changing of the VVT solenoids was a suggestion from a mechanic.

First, are those aftermarket parts & do you have the original solenoids?
They are an "easy" change & you could always see if anything changes with the original ones.

Second, it getting worse with heat is a possibly important clue.
I could imagine a massive air leak would cause the computer to not be able to adjust to conditions & run poorly, but "usually" this gets better with heat when things expand & seal better.
Things that get worse with heat (not limited to this list):
Head gasket / coolant leak
Failing phasers
Failing converters

The more I think about it, if you have 1 or both converters "plugged" or partially "plugged", this will get worse as they heat up.
The exhaust will get forced backwards into the engine & cause massive issues with the air / fuel ratio readings.
Is this for sure your issue? Maybe.
Advanced type scanners can tell a tech if the converters are "converting", but most of us don't have high dollar scanners.
You can usually get a regular scanner to monitor converter temps.
At idle & warmed up, I usually see 700'ish deg.
Running down the road, I usually see 1200-1400 deg.
If your converters are "bad" you would expect to see higher values & it won't cool down very quickly either.
Also a bad thing if they are running at 2 different temps.
You can also get some temp readings on the inlet, outlet & body using an IR temp gun.
