2008 v10 replacement
Don't know much about the truck yet. Looking at a pretty clean 2008 f250 that needs an engine. Says it knocks got run low on oil. If worse case scenario, what years of v10 will fit in the truck? Some engines from the yard run anywhere from 2500-7000. The truck itself is asking $3000. Seems a bit steep but what years fit? Let's start there.

I saw a link somewhere , I will try to find it , but in short , I believe any of the 3 valve V10's are exchangeable.
05-10 , are supposedly the best , with only an emissions change for the egr after that .
