Hello, I am in the process of obtaining what I believe is a 1959 F100 and would like some assistance in decoding the serial number. It doesn't have a title so I need as much info as I can get to process the lost title application. Data Plate
C = 292 2V Medium Duty Ford Y-block, 158 Certified Net HP @ 4,000 RPM
9 = 1959 Model year
R = San Jose Assembly Plant
25930 = Serial Number
(These 11 digits were used as the VIN until 1981)
110 = 110 inch wheelbase
E = Colonial White. (Red would be "J". Unless it was repainted and they removed the warranty plate and put it back on over the new paint, this could be a typo)
F10C = Not found. All model codes are one alpha character and 3 numeric. Thus, another typo and it must be:
F100 = F100 4x2, 5,000 lbs GVWR
17B = Date of assembly, 17th day of February, 1959.
A = Ford 3 speed.
01 = 3.70 ratio, probably the Ford 9 inch introduced in the 1957 model year.
05000 = 5,000 lbs GVWR
158 4000 = 158 Certified Net HP @ 4,000 RPM, agrees with the engine code above.
No DSO shown so no indication of where it went after it left the plant.
I know this is repetitive but otherwise it looks like it had some teeth knocked out.

The "F10C", is just a repeat saying it is a model F100 with a "C", 292 engine. per the front page of the shop manual.
