Can't help you with Canadian data plate info. But that M700 looks to be in great shape. Look at the rubber plug in the hole where a dome light switch goes in a Custom Cab. It's not dried up or shrunken. And it doesn't look hard either .
More pics when you can.
And I turned the picture around d for easier reading.
The owner I bought it from said they parked it about 1980, and it hadn’t moved since, sat and baked in the sun.
I’m pretty sure the engine is stuck, I tried to turn the fan, it’s winter here so will have to wait till spring before I can do much, glass is still good , roof is dented from kids or !!!.
Canadian decode documentation seems to be somewhat sketchy. Codes were changed regularly and the '53 code page won't help much for a '56. And even this seems to have some shortcomings. It's a bit more helpful, but most of what the plate says is self explanatory. Codes changed again for late '56- '57 so a 57 chart would have more accurate decode data for the serial prefix. I'm not sure how the 131 part figures, but the 70 is 700 series and the 75 is 175" wheelbase. Plant, year, trim and color are all listed here.
