I think I’ve made it to the point its now paralysis by analysis
I’ve got a stock ‘22 KR and just ordered a 3” BDS radius arm lift kit. I plan on running a 37x12.5x20 AT tire.
Initially I wanted run my factory wheels with a quality spacer but I’ve been talked out of it so I’ve been looking at aftermarket wheels.
I have the wheel picked out but I’m all over the board on offset. My 3 options are as follows:
20x9 +20
20x9 +1
20x10 -18
i know all 3 will work with minimum or no trimming but I guess my question is for guys that have run multiple setups like I listed, do you have any regrets on any of them or is there 1 you’ll always do from now on?
In my head I love the idea of the 20x10 -18 but I worry about the paint on the side of truck. I know the +20 will pretty much have me be flush with the KR flares once the 12.5 wide is mounted.
I guess I’m just hoping to be talked in to 1 option over the other 2 because at this point I’m flip flopping 10+ times a day and my appointment to do all the work is at the tail end of next week
I run a 10 wide -44 bs. On a 325 which is like 12.8”. 1.5 inch lift and my tires are around 35” on the dot.
Had to do some trimming and heat gun work.
Personally I would look into running the 9” +1 with something like a 37x13.50x20 MT Legend EXP. They are a hybrid tread, don’t toss stone much, touch shorter than a “37”, and light for that size.
Do you happen to have a pick that looks right down the side of the truck from the front without the wheel turned?
Also, ever wish you had gotten a different offset?
I don't, but the front is wider on these trucks than the rear and at +18 they stuck out pretty far. I personally hate the "skateboard" look, AND I drive gravel roads daily, so I didn't want a lot of my tire sticking out.

10 and -18 is gonna be way wide. i'd recommend the +1. the +20 is clean but more sucked in than i would prefer. I ran a 9 wide 0 offset on 17's mounted on 37's and loved it.
If I’m honest my first choice of wheel is only available in +20 and my second choice is available in both.
so now I’m asking myself would I rather see my favorite looking wheel slightly more sunken in or my second choice of wheel that’s probably closer looking to my preferred Fitment.
I just went through this. No matter what I did there was going to be a compromise. I like what I ended up with but I don’t love it. The stock wheels were just not looking good enough for me.

what did you end up with and what was your compromise?

I have 22x12 -44 offset. 325 50 Nitto recon grapplers. Way aggressive. I wanted a wide wheel ( at least 10) with close to 0 offset. American Force was the closest at 11 wide 0 offset but I wasn’t shelling out the coin for those. The compromise was more negative offset than I wanted. These trucks seem to ride and handle waaay better on wider tires from my seat of the pants opinion. My truck sits in the barn and gets used as a grocery getter mostly so I’m not worried about the paint etc. I came to the conclusion that this isn’t a permanent decision and I can swap em out later if I get tired of them.
