The halogen headlights in my 2025 XL absolutely suck... there are no two ways about it. I need to upgrade them with LED bulbs. The problem is... I'm getting some conflicting information about which bulb to get.
Ford manual says the low beam is an H11, the high beam is a 9005.... that seems pretty cut and dried.
The vendor I'm fixing to order my lights from says I need H13 bulbs. I'm not a brane surgeon, but it doesn't look like the H11 and H13 mounts are interchangeable, and I think the H13 is a single low/high beam bulb... but trying to find actual usable information on the bulb and their application has been nearly impossible. I'm just trying to find The Right Answer...

Look at the Lasfit website. Purchased these for several vehicle.

Have you experienced any static issues, caused by these bulbs, with the FM radio? Did you need to install anything like ferrite chokes to limit RF interference?
From my experiences with 2017 - 2022 halogen trucks, the H13 was definitely high and low beam and they were in all 4 headlight locations.
It's my understanding that the newer trucks have 2 high and 2 low. Sounds like someone might be giving the OP outdated information. Check with sellers like Headlight Revolution or SuperBright LEDs. Even if you don't purchase there you should be able to find out which bulbs are used in which locations.
My current truck came with factory LED reflectors, which I'm happy with so I didn't have to search for an improvement this time around.

I checked, with your suggestion, and Headlight Revolution has a good selection of LED bulbs. The low beam offerings are H11 format, and the high beam offerings are 9005

This was for a 2024 F350
Good information for those interested in converting. Having used LED bulbs in headlight assemblies designed for halogen bulbs in the '17 - '22 trucks I previously owned, I'd suggest adjusting them so as not to blind other drivers. Headlight Revolution has a video with some suggestions.
F150 LEDS also used to have some quality bulbs, but I haven't shopped there in quite some time. They snapped in securely where some of the Amazon options did not. https://www.f150leds.com/
The way the projector lenses are made these days, they are more directional and the blinding effect is almost nil. Also, I have used SeaLights brand exclusively on all my trucks since 2017, and have never ran into radio interference noise. But having the STX, no need for the SeaLights this time. I find the blinding effect to happen when people have lifted or leveled their trucks, I have always kept the factory rack.

That's who gave me the 'outdated info'. We sorted it out yesterday, however... and I have a set of H11's on the way. The GTR Ultra 3.0's just arrived... I'm anxious to try them.

You'd think HR would know better. They're one of the more well known bulb vendors out there.
I had a set of GTR Armor switchback front turn signal bulbs several years ago. Quality product that snapped into the socket much more securely than other brands I'd purchased cheaper on Amazon.

Well... I don't think they understood what truck I was trying to retrofit, meaning, they didn't read my email fully. I finally sent them a copy of the owners manual page with the light reference, then they understood what I was saying. It's all good, and they were always fast with a reply, and it shipped in less than 2 days.
Pulling those bulbs is going to be a pain in the rear, I don't want to have to do it twice.

I pulled the halogens and replaced many times on the '17 - '22 trucks. I got so I could do it fairly fast without grille removal. But I've got zero experience with the newer trucks.
Heck, I have to figure out what I have for front marker lights and where to find the wiring to tap because I'm considering a lighting kit for the front fender side vents from F150leds. I have LED headlights and the markers kinda look like LED but I'm not 100% sure. I'll contact them this week to figure it out. Or maybe not. I've already got an additional module in there for the C ring strobes from Wicked Warnings. Not sure if I want to keep adding.
There is access to the driver's side headlight assembly (in the gasser...) but the airbox hides access to the passenger side.
In the past I know the washer fluid tank neck could be removed to improve access. The snorkel had to be removed on the driver passenger side of the gassers. Never done a diesel.
Their website has the bulb types listed correctly, so hopefully it's not common for them to give incorrect advice. Human error.
That's new... it used to show up as an H13, with no other option in the dropdown. Trust me... I looked!
And this brings up another question.... my STX has LED's from the factory. The Ford manual only lists the bulb as 'LED,' not any numerical designation... like H11 or H13. Anyone pulled the stock LED bulbs out?
