2017 PCM Recall Reflash

Has anyone done this recall? My truck has a TCM and ECM tune, should I still go for this reflash?

Never get a factory reflash on a tuned vehicle.
You would need to return the truck to the stock tune before getting the reflash.

even though it’s just a PCM flash? I tuned the TCM and ECM.

If your truck is not under warranty, why would they want to flash it? It won't be anything you want flashed that is for sure.

Sometimes those pcm reflashes also include resetting of other modules. I'm not sure what effect that would have on a tuned vehicle, but probably best to just avoid it.

Which recall is it? What exactly does it claim to accomplish? There have been several over the years. Most of the recent ones I’ve heard of are for newer trucks. The last one I got notified about was 20E07 and that’s been a while. Ford was persistent on that one but finally gave up I guess.
