Hey all, are the front shock mounts the same between F100s and F350s? I am in need of the upper mounts and lower mounting studs for my M350 as the previous owner mustve thought he was Bo Duke as the mounts are completely blown off...
Is there any source for these or perhaps someone who wants to sell me them?
I believe you are referring to TAAA-18035-A and TAAA-18107-A which are all the same for the 53 Ford and Mercury 100, 250, and 350.
Since you have such useful knowledge I am gonna ask this now just to confirm as to not waste my money, by that logic the shocks should be the same too right? dennis carpenter 7RC-18125-A should be correct then? or am I incorrect
7RC-18125-A/A8C-18125-A is for the rear for the prior generation - I thought we were talking front?
For the front of your 53, Ford DPT-18124-A/B3C-18124-A or the heavy duty version DPT-18124-B/B3C-18124-B was specified.
Yes we are talking about front, I must be wrong then, the website listed as for 48-55 trucks iirc and they arent the best with listing fitment so I was unsure
Is there a known source for these shocks? searches I do come up with different part numbers but its hard to tell with ford switching them all the time..
I can't immediately cross reference the Ford parts above. Many places list options by application, but that doesn't mean they are right, bolt on, or what you really want.
Give me a bit to leaf through some other references I have and see what I can come up with.

This was quite the journey and still quite confusing, and I'm not sure exactly how helpful any of this is. For the shocks cross reference from various Ford and other publications:
