Oil based undercoating

What are yalls thoughts on oil based undercoating?

How much does it cost? Do you have to get it re-applied yearly? Bi-yearly? Are there any cons? Does the brand name matter?

I found a shop that can do fluid film. I would just be having my frame done so I don't think it should cost too much. Aluminum doesn't rust

75 to 100 bucks a can. Good stuff. Roll or spray. Compatible with frame wands etc. Don't over pay. It's not a hard job.

I found a local shop that can do fluid film. I would happily do it myself if I had a garage or driveway. How often do you apply it?

It's essentially the same coating GMC stull uses on their frames. Ford now electrocoats and foam fills their.
