EGT Probes
Is there an advantage of running one of the EGT probes off my DPF versus the one that was in the EGR? I've got the EGT probe that was in the EGR in the plate that's threaded for it, but I'm reading a lot of posts that say to use one from the DPF. The one I'm reading will peg at 2000 degree F until I start to give it some RPM, then it settles down to about 300 degrees or so. Should I replace that one with one from the DPF?
