I am having the same issue. Made an appointment before my warranty was up. Ford replaced my steering dampener as it was bad and said that was the problem. 4,000 miles later and the clunking/popping is much much worse. Truck is now at 41,000 miles. I believe Ford should fix this issue as I made note of it under warranty. Chesrown Ford in Sidney Ohio is my servicing dealer.
I wish it worked tht way. Back in 2012 for my model year 2013 BMW 550i with the n63 engine, I noted excessive oil consumption from the second week. Complained about it for years and was always to,do it was normal. Finally, they had class action suit that required the, to replace any engine that drank more than x amount of oil per y mileage (I forget the actual numbers), ut if your car was over a certain mileage, you had to pay part of the price.
I told them from week two of brand new ownership of the problem…did not help me at all…
