Hello guys, need your help. How to safely remove these push nut washers from 46 year old plastic posts. These are on the back side of the door panel inserts. My goal is to remove them and reuse the original inserts on new door panels. Tried gridding with a DREMAL Tool, stopped that, using too thick of wheel, concerned with the heat melting the plastic. Too snug to get cutting tool like pliers under the edge. Baffled as my next step. Need suggestions.
