So I'm trying to find the source of my death wobble, it's actually not a wobble at all but an up and down motion after I go over a large bump. Feels like something gets stuck like a strut or spring and makes the front end feel like I'm going over a set of speed bumps. I slow down and it goes away. The truck needed new inner and outer tie rods. I replaced those but it's still doing it. What worked for you guys?

Mine was a caliper that was slow to release… I put a new set on and solved the issue
You need to have someone drive beside you so they can see what you are feeling. I had this early on my 95 F250 and it was not until my wife was driving and I happened to be driving next to her before I could see what was happening. The wheels were going side to side, not up and down. Dampening worn out parts is a band aid, not a solution.
Could you clarify what you mean by lack of rebound control?
Shocks dampen the rate the coil springs compress and decompress. Your shocks are shot and the front end is bouncing around as a result. Pull one of the front shocks out and I bet you'll be able to push it in and out by hand with no problem. They're not expensive and easy to replace.
