So hear we are again with my problem child 7.3l haha
Pretty soon ill have a brand new truck with how many new parts are on it.
So i noticed a week ago that I hit a bump in the road [PA roads are awful] and it sounded and felt like i was on a rumble strip maybe coming from the front end. But i realize Im not and pulled over, checked everything out and couldnt really find a problem.
Go to take off and my truck is fine. Since i drive it daily i have been driving it all week and every once in a while ill hit a bump and it happens again until i slow down/stop or hit a bump in the road again. Really odd.
My passenger side hub is pretty tough to unlock [i need pliers to do it] So Im gonna re pack that asap. And when its not vibrating it drives perfectly fine so Im thinking its not the bearings.
I always suggest folks take a look at the spring tip isolators. They are cheap and easy to replace and make an awful grumbling vibration when they crumble to pieces.
