lifter tick
this ticking just started is it anything to worry about as it will be about 3 weeks before the dealer can get my service truck in and a loaner vehicle available also is this tick normal 6.2l engine TIA

Attachment worked for me and that is not normal. I would avoid driving the truck until a shop visit, if possible.

On the 6.2L a malfunctioning baffle in the intake which sounds like a tick is very common. So common that now intakes were on back order for over in 2024.

He has a 20 truck. I thought that was like a 17-19 issue.

Wouldn't a '20 6.2 have the same intake/IMRC as the '17-19 trucks?
