I have just torn apart my steerin wheel to replace the key cylinder and Steering Lock Lever.
I noticed that there is a lot of non-lubing lube for the lock lever.....more like honey than lube....so I have been cleaning it all off as much as I can and my goal is to have that Steering Lock Lever slide real easy.
I've looked and tried to google......What is the best lube or type of lube to put on these pieces that will be long lasting but not gather dirt, etc.?
I believe I ran across a post similar to this but I was diving down rabbit holes at that time for something else and didn't know I would need that info.
Thanks in advance.
