Has anyone replaced their rear extended bumpers with another model from a Ranger, Explorer, or the like?
My center section is cracked to pieces. Ford wants $300. Can't find a good one at the Junk Yard. I found a site that sells them in packs of 5, but don't need the other four. A place down in Mobil, AL said they could spray/patch it.
I'd like something stronger and durable, like chrome.
mine was cracked in the back and on top, (wife backed into a retaining wall). i glued it back, then covered the top with a sill guard . two pieces sold at auto zone. now it looks like the wind star bumper with the black grid moulding on top. i thought of using bondo then smoothing it out and repainting it. maybe this summer................
the back bumper on the extended is in three pieces, ,and it is hard to get apart (was for me) so i opted to reconstruct it.... rick
