My passenger side mirror has taken a beating since I bought my 2023 F250 Lariat. I have already replaced the marker light in the mirror because I whacked it going through a bank ATM lane. Today I was backing up and the mirror caught a 4X4 post and got pulled forward. I figured I would be able to pop it back and all would be good. Nope. Now when my mirrors fold they both come back to the stowed position against the windows. When they fold back out the driver side goes to the normal position; but, the passenger side goes all the way forward to where it was when I hit the post. Please tell me how to fix it. Hopefully, I don't have spend $1500 for a whole new mirror.
Maybe try folding in and unfolding the mirrors again but have someone hold and stop the passenger mirror when it gets to the old normal open position, sorta relearning where to stop ?

If you do need a new mirror just shoot me a message. I'll make sure you get the best price possible on a new OEM mirror.

Thank you Steve. I did order one all ready. The current one is driving me nuts flopping in the breeze. I will keep you in mind for the next thing I need to replace. lol
I installed the new mirror yesterday so I tore the old one apart. There are pins in the folding motors which are at the hinge points of the mirror. Both pins are bent from being folded forward and that was causing the mirror to flop when in the running position and it to fold all the way forward when I use the auto fold/unfold. The new mirror came with everything except the camera, its cover and the chrome cover on the front of the mirror which I easily moved from the old mirror. Expensive lesson; but, lesson learned.
