57 rear bumper

Hello, i have a 57 flareside f100, I would like to put a styleside rear bumper on it for the license plate notch it has. Are rear brackets the same for either style, and would there be any fitment issues using the rear styleside bumper on a flareside? Thanks, larry

The two bumpers are very different. I believe you would also have to shorten a styleside bumper to use on a flair side with the width of the box being different. Doable but not just a bolt on. If you can cut and paste with a welder, why not make a recessed area on your existing bumper? Trying to add pics of each below!

Hello, that was my option b. I guess I'm just getting old and lazy, thought if they were interchangeable I'd just buy a styleside bumper. I did notch one before, For my 52 f3., and it turned out great. Guess I'll do it again. Thank you for responding, larry
