My 02 Superduty is in need of box repair or replacement and pretty sure others here have or had that issue. I’m wondering what are the range of years that will fit as a replacement.
I found the answers , 99-2010 is a perfect match and 11-16 will fit but body lines are different. There’s quite a business going on in truck beds thats for sure.
They definitely want a premium for truck beds anymore...used to be able to get them for a decent price. Maybe if you aren't in a huge rush, you will be able to come across a good deal. However, even if you found a goo deal, it's most likely it will have to be repainted to match...which won't be cheap either

Agreed, Its really a matter of whether the truck is a keeper or not. I got a quote range up here north of Toronto of 2500-3200 and for a good box thats not bad and my 7.3 is definitely a keeper. I drove it down to Mexico and back arriving here a week ago and my only complaint was lousy roads which comes down to springs and shocks. Shocks seemed the obvious first step and i put KYB Monomax on the rear and its a new truck. I should have done that before driving all that distance but didn’t fully understand the state of Mexican roads. I had KYB Excel on the front already but I ordered monomax for the front too.
Junk yards around here typically get like $500 for a bed without tailgate. Check out places that sell flatbeds too... A lot of them take the bed on partial payment and sell them pretty cheap.

I posted a new bed complete with tailgate bed I have for sale. It is in the marketplace thread with photos. $4,200.00
2011 through 2016 F-250 or F350. This is a brand new, takeoff never used complete 8' bed with tailgate, bed liner and tail lights. Not one scratch, has been stored inside and covered since 2013. Ingot Silver Metallic. Has Ford factory 5th wheel and Gooseneck pre-marked for holes to be punched out if needed. Also has DEF setup. The driver's side is perfect also. I also have two rear bumpers and Ford bedliner that are included with the bed. paclikj64@gmail.com
I remember when you could get a new bed for around $500 complete...then around $1000.....2, 3, 4k for a bed; no thanks. I can damn near buy another truck for that price
Yep, everything is out of sight. When I fill up my 2013 F-350 Diesel, here in Ca I pay twice for fuel than my 1st car. A 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2-door hard top. $100.00. I see beds twice what I am asking. I will keep it until the next dummy texter rear ends me. Then I will replace mine.

I bought my first new truck, a 1976 F-250 Regular Cab, 8' bed, 4x4 with limited slip front and rear. $6,800.00. Now that is most likely the sales tax on a new one, well here in California.
