So here is what I am dealing with. I have a good OEM box already on the PU. 30 years ago when I started this rebuild (it is a long story) I fabricated two heavy duty side tanks. The box already had two filler doors on the drivers side, I added one from another box to the passenger side.
Now that outside of the frame tanks are not a good idea, I wanted to fix this. The two side tanks were never used, and have been removed.
Perhaps the cleanest fix is to remove the two extra filler doors and patch in skin portions from a donor box.
