Are you talking the pin for the gear to distributor shaft?
Or there is a pin for the DSII distributor that holds the star wheel on the distributor shaft up top.
Being you have the distributor out just take it to the hardware store to get the right size.
Dont over think this it cant be that hard to find the size.
Dave ----
It is not the roll pin that is bad but the distributor gear!
I would not worry about the pin but you need to be thinking about a motor rebuild as all that gear metal is throughout the motor and stuck in the bearings.
Also when the motor is apart for a cleaning and rebuild you should be able to find why that happened as that is not normal even if the motor has 300K+ on it.
If the pin broke the gear would look good with hardly any wear showing.
Dave ----
If it runs it might be better to drop it into the truck and use it while you rebuild the motor you pulled out?
Note the 87> blocks dont have a hole for the fuel pump. You can have it machined out when rebuilding it.
Dave ----
Well i didn't do a full rebuild. But I got it running with the factory efi.
I had to get a new Cam, lifters, Distributor and oil pump.
the oil pump had tight spots.
