I thought for my trip to Shane's house this fall I should buy this tear drop camper to haul behind the F-2 , my wife is not so willing to consider it. I think it would cool behind the old truck and it woudl be easy to pull behind the old girl
It's on FB Market Place for $100
Camper/trailer 100$ bucks just need space
The inside of it will need work done to it but can still be used and hitched.
Think the right turning signal went out recently as well
At least that one looks to be salvagable and useable. I saw one at an auction recently that sounded cool, but was a complete tear down and start over. Way more work than I was willing to do. Teardrops definitely have a certain cool factor to them. And as noted, plenty of room for one.
for $100 if I wanted it I would buy now, answer questions later.
one thing to remember about trailers like that is they are very hard to back up because of the short wheelbase and not visible in the mirrors, a camera on the back of the truck would be very helpful.
One time I was pulling a short narrow trailer and forgot it was back there, checked my mirrors, started backing and came to a abrupt stop when It jackknifed to the pass side and I was watching the drivers mirror.
Just checked the poll, 100% so far are telling me to buy it, you're nothing but enablers
I'm on also, just went to a small swapmeet and the guy I went with saw a polished aluminum dual car intake manifold for a flattie. We were walking and he was debating whether to buy it or not. I told him, buy it, go ahead and buy it. He bought it.
BTW, I messaged the guy and told him like to take a look at it tomorrow if it's still available. If I buy it I'll just park it on the other side of the panel yard art that I'm waiting to paint. How upset can the wife get if I already bought and have it at home?
