Flooding issues

I got a 91 with a 351 and manual trans. I was having idle issues and ended up checking things out finding a bad TPS. The range seemed pretty smooth but only went to 2.7 volts so it was replaced. New sensor checks out good voltage range but my oil has a good amount of fuel in it and it’s brand new oil. Could this have caused the issue or should I start checking other things such as my ECT as well

Test fuel pressure, if you have an injector stuck open pressure will drop quickly when the pump stops and that will explain your fuel in the oil problem. If that is the case pull the plugs to see if you can find which cylinder has the problem. Another source for excess fuel is a ruptured diaphram in the fuel pressure regulator, you will find raw fuel in the vacuum line if that is the case.

The regulator is good I just replaced it. I will double check fuel pressure again but I don’t recall it dropping when the pump was shut off

Might be
A leaking intake or upper plenum gasket will send more fuel due to the air leak
Could have also been your malfunctioning TP sensor
Change the oil and filter again

I wasn’t sure if my bad tps could have sent that much fuel or not. If the tps was not the issue I would be willing to bet the plenum gasket I just replaced all the intake related gaskets and may not have gotten a good seal

Update on the situation. Primed the fuel system and the gauge was reading 30 psi after pump shut off. Running it holds 34 psi at idle and goes to 40+ with throttle. Koeo with fuel pump tester grounded it holds at 41 psi with pump running and then immediately drops to 30 psi when pump shuts off. Seems to hold at 30 but could be gauge discrepancies with a slow leak and FPR is brand new. It shouldn’t drop to 30 as soon as pump shuts off correct?

Normal
They generally will drop a few pounds when you shut it off
Kick is, what's it doing tomorrow morning (overnight)
It should hold enough pressure to just need it's initial pump prime then start
Some drop to 15 pounds overnight and are still okay

ok, I’ve got a bore camera I’m going to make sure no injectors are leaking then check plenum gasket. Only thing left I can think that would put fuel in my oil
