Engine compartment wiring.

Anyone have a pics of what the stock wiring for a 1948 F-1 should look like? (flathead V8) I've been cleaning up the wiring on my truck, and I'm trying to figure out how things are supposed to be routed, Particularly, what is routed towards the front for the headlights. Currently it's all routed down and along the frame.

Thanks. It looks like I might be missing a couple of wire clips that are supposed to be on the inner fender.

The branch of the loom that comes forward for lights/horn consists of these stock colors for 48-50:

Horn - Blue/Yellow trace
Horn - Yellow/Green
High beams - Green/Black
Park lights - Black/Yellow
Low beams - Red/Black
Ground - Black

gosh thanks guys! The compartment light is customized with a toggle kill switch too -so the hood can stay up without draining the battery. I love accessories and there’s a lot of neat ones on the truck.

If you're missing inner fender clips and need some, let me know, I may be able to scrounge up a few.

I got the wiring looking much better. I don't have a good pic of what it looked like before. This is a sample of the mess:

Now with less chaos (and zip ties):

Looks great. It's amazing what a little detailing with tape and clips will do for you. Nice job!
